A case is reported of a young adult with moderate hemoptysis arising from an accessory cardiac bronchus. The authors review the 90 cases reported in the published literature and summarize the clinical manifestations and results of radiological investigations.

The authors report a case of double aortic arc revealed by respiratory problems of obstructive type in a teenager. The diagnosis suggested by routine radiological check up as confirmed by aortography. After surgical disruption of the vascular ring, the respiratory troubles disappeared.
