Glyceryl monooleate/poloxamer 407 cubic nanoparticles investigated as potential oral drug delivery systems to enhance the bioavailability of the water-insoluble model drug simvastatin showed enhanced bioavailability, possibly attributable to facilitated absorption by lipids in the formulation rather than improved release.
