OBJECTIVE To study the survival and growth of Vibrio cholerae inside the Acanthamoeba polyphage. METHODS Survival and growth of Vibro cholerae O139, co-cultured with Acanthamoeba polyphaga, was observed inside the trophozoites and cysts, using Gram stain and electron microscope.
