Two feathered dinosaurs from northeastern China
Two theropods from the Upper Jurassic/Lower Cretaceous Chaomidianzi Formation of Liaoning province, China are described, which represent stages in the evolution of birds from feathered, ground-living, bipedal dinosaurs.
New Specimens of Microraptor zhaoianus (Theropoda: Dromaeosauridae) from Northeastern China
New specimens of the diminutive theropod dinosaur Microraptor zhaoianus are described, found to be the sister taxon to other dromaeosaurs and apparently small size is primitive for Deinonychosauria, which has implications for bird origins.
A NEW PTEROSAUR FROM THE LIAONING PROVINCE OF CHINA, THE PHYLOGENY OF THE PTERODACTYLOIDEA, AND CONVERGENCE IN THEIR CERVICAL VERTEBRAE
Phylogenetic analysis of a new pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous of Liaoning Province of China and the Pterodactyloidea reveals that the characters of the elongate azhdarchid vertebrae appeared independently in both groups, demonstrating that the homoplastic character states present in these two taxa were acquired in a different order in their respective lineages.

Juvenile Birds from the Early Cretaceous of China: Implications for Enantiornithine Ontogeny
The skeletal morphology of three nearly complete early juvenile avians from the renowned Early Cretaceous Yixian Formation of Liaoning Province in northeastern China are reported on, suggesting that fledging occurred very early in ontogeny, thus supporting a precocial or highly precocial strategy for enantiornithine hatchlings.
