Recommendations for treatment with specific antidementia drugs in Denmark are given on the basis of recent evidence. Such evidence supports treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease (AD) with acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (AchEI), and moderate to severe AD with memantine.
