Success of pig production depends on maximizing return over feed costs and addressing potential nutrient pollution to the environment. Mathematical modeling has been used to describe many important aspects of inputs and outputs of pork production. This study was undertaken to compare 4 mathematical functions for the best fit in terms of describing specific(More)

Hip–Hop solutions of the 2N–body problem with equal masses are shown to exist using an analytic continuation argument. These solutions are close to planar regular 2N–gon relative equilibria with small vertical oscillations. For fixed N , an infinity of these solutions are three–dimensional choreographies, with all the bodies moving along the same closed(More)
Populations of phase oscillators interacting globally through a general coupling function fsxd have been considered. We analyze the conditions required to ensure the existence of a Lyapunov functional giving close expressions for it in terms of a generating function. We have also proposed a family of exactly solvable models with singular couplings showing(More)
The existence of a new class of inclined periodic orbits of the collision restricted three–body problem is shown. The symmetric periodic solutions found are perturbations of elliptic kepler orbits and they exist only for special values of the inclination and are related to the motion of a satellite around an oblate planet.

We show the existence of families of hip–hop solutions in the equal–mass 2N–body problem which are close to highly eccentric planar elliptic homographic motions of 2N bodies plus small perpendicular non–harmonic oscillations. By introducing a parameter 2, the homographic motion and the small amplitude oscillations can be uncoupled into a purely Keplerian(More)
This paper describes a Fixed Maximum Power Point analog control used in a step-down Pulse Width Modulated power converter. The DC/DC converter drives a DC motor used in small water pumping installations, without any electric storage device. The power supply is provided by PV panels working around their maximum power point, with a fixed operating voltage(More)
