Female donkeys had significantly (P less than 0.05) higher mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration and leukocyte and neutrophil counts than did male donkeys, and females had higher values than did males of all age groups.

Cytochemical reactions of blood leucocytes and thrombocytes from six species of fish, rainbow trout, coho salmon, white sturgeon, goldfish, striped bass, and channel catfish were determined and cells found that had segmented nuclei and unstained, moderately refractile cytoplasmic granules were classified.
