Ferromagnetic properties of one-dimensional decamethylferrocenium tetracyanoethylenide (1 : 1): [Fe(η5-C5Me5)2]˙+[TCNE]˙–
[Fe(C5Me5)2]˙+[TCNE]˙– has been characterized by magnetic susceptibility to possess dominant ferromagnetic interactions; its structure has been determined by X-ray crystallography.
Evaluation of Relative Bioavailability of 25-Hydroxycholecalciferol to Cholecalciferol for Broiler Chickens
Data indicate that 25-OH-D3 is approximately 2.03 times as active as vitamin D3 in promoting growth performance and bone mineralization in broiler chicken diets. Expand
[Effects of beta-carotene and vitamin C on the expression of c-myc in human leukemic cell].
The observations suggested that the inhibitory effect of beta-carotene on the proliferation of leukemic cells was caused by inducing apoptosis of HL-60 through up-regulating the expression of c-myc gene; however, the inhibitories effect of vitamin C on cell proliferation was not related to the expressionof c- myc gene. [Protection of beta-carotene and vitamin C on the transformation of human lung fibroblasts cell induced by nickel sesquioxide].
Ni2O3 could induce strongly the malignant transformation of HLF cell and might be carcinogenic to human and the increase of foods riched in beta-carotene and vitamin C was suggested for workers exposed to nickel. Expand
