Targeting MLL1 H3K4 methyltransferase activity in mixed-lineage leukemia.
Results show that inhibiting MLL1 methyltransferase activity specifically blocks proliferation of MLL cells by inducing cell-cycle arrest, apoptosis, and myeloid differentiation without general toxicity to normal bone marrow cells or non-MLL cells.

It is reported that loss of Tsc1 in mouse subventricular zone (SVZ) neural stem/progenitor cells (NSPCs) results in formation of SEN- and SEGA-like structural abnormalities in the lateral ventricle, the consequence of abnormal migration of NSPCs following T sc1 loss.
