Seven edema-producing fractions were isolated from Trimeresurus mucrosquamatus snake venom by CM-Sephadex C-50 chromatography and further purified by gel filtration on a SephadeX G-75 column and it was concluded that the edema caused by T. mucrosQUamatus venom may be due to phospholipases A2, proteases and esterases.

Sixteen constituents from Formosan Moraceous plants were tested for their antiplatelet activities in rabbit platelet suspension and human platelet-rich plasma and showed strong inhibition of arachidonic acid-induced platelet aggregation.
Signal transduction pathways for activation of extracellular signal‐regulated kinase by arachidonic acid in rat neutrophils
The data suggest that the lipoxygenasemetabolite produced mediates AA‐stimulated ERK activation and that this effect is upstream regulated by PT‐sensitive G protein, nonreceptor tyrosine kinase, PI3K, and PLC/Ca2+ signalingpathways in rat neutrophils.
