The vanadium and selected metal contents of some ascidians.
The vanadium and other selected metal contents of primarily California ascidians have been determined and three dominant fractions were chromatographed from the cells contained in the fluid of Ascidia ceratodes.

In experiments in which the metal contents of the chorion and yolk were measured at up to 24 h and five days after uptake, the order of migration was Cd > Zn > Hg, which is important when discussing the effects of metals on biological processes in the yolk.
