The results suggested that although TOM performance appeared compromised in the group of individuals with Parkinson's disease, the elderly control participants were relatively unimpaired relative to younger individuals, and significant relationships between several measures of TOM and EF were found.

The Impact of Age at Seizure Onset on the Likelihood of Atypical Language Representation in Children with Intractable Epilepsy
A much higher proportion of children with seizure onset prior to the fifth year showed atypical speech representation as compared to children whose seizures began after 5 years of age, suggesting there was a naturally occurring cut-off point after which the rate of atypicals speech representation decreased.
