Dentatorubrothalamic tract in human brain: diffusion tensor tractography study
The highest probabilistic location for the DRTT at the thalamus was compatible with the location of the VL nucleus, which could be useful in research on movement control. Expand
Mammillothalamic tract in human brain: Diffusion tensor tractography study
The mammillothalamic tract (MTT) is a part of the Papez circuit and connects the mammillary body and anterior thalamus and is identified in the human brain using diffusion tensor tractography (DTT). Expand
Neural pathway from nucleus basalis of Meynert passing through the cingulum in the human brain
Methodology and data from this study of the neural pathway from the NBM passing through the cingulum will be helpful in elucidation of the pathology of diseases involving the basal forebrain or frontal lobe. Expand
Injury of the Spino-Thalamo-Cortical Pathway Is Necessary for Central Post-Stroke Pain
Injury of the spino-thalamo-cortical pathway seems to be a requirement for the development of CPSP in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage, and decrease of tract volume without changes in the STP FA or MD values in the CPSP group indicates partial injury of STP. Expand
Corticospinal tract location in internal capsule of human brain: diffusion tensor tractography and functional MRI study
It is demonstrated that the corticospinal tract for the hand descended through the posterior portion of the posterior limb of the internal capsule in the human brain at the mid-thalamic level. Expand
The Prevalence of Central Poststroke Pain according to the Integrity of the Spino-Thalamo-Cortical Pathway
Partial injury of the STP appears to be more vulnerable to development of CPSP than complete injury of a spino-thalamo-cortical pathway in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage. Expand
The effect of a stretching device on hand spasticity in chronic hemiparetic stroke patients.
It is found that the stretching device was effective in relieving hand spasticity in chronic stroke patients and showed significant interaction between time and effect of intervention. Expand
Diffusion tensor imaging findings in neurologically asymptomatic patients with end stage renal disease.
Using DTI, this study attempted to investigate DTI findings in patients with ESRD who showed no specific lesions on conventional brain MRI and found abnormalities on DTTs that were associated with cognition; however, they did not show significant cognitive abnormalities. Expand
Location of the corticospinal tract at the corona radiata in human brain
It was found that the CST for the hand descended through about one quarter (medio-lateral direction) and two-thirds (antero-posterior direction) at the CR. Expand

It is concluded that patients with memory impairment following traumatic brain injury should be evaluated using diffusion Tensor imaging, and follow-up diffusion tensor imaging may be necessary in patients with sustained memory impairment. Expand
