Video-assisted cervical mediastinoscopy: our seven-year experience.
A retrospective review was performed to assess sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and morbidity of video-assisted cervical mediastinoscopy (VACM) and obtained a definitive diagnosis in 57 patients--sensitivity 93.6% and negative patients underwent thoracotomy or other procedure.

D diagnosis was achieved in this patient by mini thoracotomy and open biopsy in order to prevent bleeding or neurological damage, and Video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), is a minimal invasive and alternative way of diagnosis, biopsy and treatment of these cases.
Endothoracic hemopoiesis: imaging of a rare clinical entity.
In this brief imaging paper, some interesting pictures of a case affected from extramedullary hematopoiesis are presented; a very rare cause of a posterior mediastinal tumor which may be clinically confused with other mediastsinal tumors.
