The reconstruction of genome-scale metabolic models and their applications represent a great advantage of systems biology. Through their use as metabolic flux simulation models, production of industrially-interesting metabolites can be predicted. Due to the growing number of studies of metabolic models driven by the increasing genomic sequencing projects,… (More)
This paper is devoted to the study of the volcanoes of ℓ-isogenies of elliptic curves over a finite field, focusing on their height as well as on the location of curves across its different levels. The core of the paper lies on the relationship between the ℓ-Sylow subgroup of an elliptic curve and the level of the volcano where it is placed. The particular… (More)
A Uniquely Decodable (UD) Code is a code such that any vector of the ambient space has a unique closest codeword. In this paper we begin a study of the structure of UD codes and identify perfect subcodes. In particular we determine all linear UD codes of covering radius ≤ 2.
