This paper describes preliminary results on the inclusive process b → sγ obtained from 20.7 fb of data recorded with the BABAR detector during 1999-2000. Signal event yields are found from a combination of twelve exclusive decay channels after subtracting continuum and BB backgrounds. A search for the exclusive radiative decays B → ρ(770)γ and B0 → ω(782)γ is performed on a sample of 84 million BB events collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP − II asymmetric e+e− collider.
