Silicon ADSL/POTS splitter filter integration is the challenge for size and cost reduction of DSL equipment. This paper describes the implementation in 0.5 /spl mu/m CMOS of a wire by wire configuration of this filter. The area of the chip is 3 mm/sup 2/. Proof of concept and measurements on the prototype silicon are reported.
Micromachined mechanics, magnetics and optics allow in conjunction with microelectronics the development of various microsystems.
