We numerically investigate Andreev reflection in a graphene ring with one normal conducting and one superconducting lead by solving the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation within the Landauer-Büttiker formalism. By tuning chemical potential and bias voltage, it is possible to switch between regimes where electron and hole originate from the same band… (More)

We revisit the problem of local persistence in directed percolation, reporting improved estimates of the persistence exponent in 1+1 dimensions, discovering strong corrections to scaling in higher dimensions, and investigating the mean field limit. Moreover, we introduce a graded persistence probability that a site does not flip more than n times and… (More)

We revisit the problem of local persistence in directed percolation, reporting improved estimates of the persistence exponent in 1+1 dimensions, discovering strong corrections to scaling in higher dimensions, and investigating the mean field limit. Moreover, we examine a graded persistence probability that a site does not flip more than m times and… (More)

We study ballistic transport properties of graphene with a low concentration of vacancies or adatoms. The conductance of graphene doped to the Dirac point is found to depend on the relative distribution of impurities among different sites of the honeycomb lattice labeled in general by six colors. The conductivity is shown to be sensitive to the crystal… (More)
