The binding of proflavine to DNA has been studied by measuring the polarization and intensity of emission of DNA–dye complexes. Such measurements also permit the determination of the fluorescence of… (More)
Ultraviolet absorption, fluorescence excitation and emission, and fluorescence anisotropy demonstrate that the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbone 3,4-benzpyrene, Pyrene, anthracene, and… (More)
Abstract Ultracentrifuge measurements show that the individual histones f2a1 and f3 interact to form tetramers in solution. The conditions which facilitate renaturation are discussed.
