Modeling and analysis of cooperative spectrum sensing is an important aspect in cognitive radio systems. In this paper, the problem of energy detection (ED) of an unknown signal over Nakagami-m fading is revisited. Specifically, an analytical expression for the local probability of detection is derived, while using the approach of ED at the individual(More)
—The cooperative spectrum sensing in cognitive radio (CR) environments is generally modelled as a distributed binary hypothesis testing problem. However, modelling of the system in presence of correlated multipath-fading is an important issue. It deals with complex dependencies of large number of random variables. Earlier developments on decision fusion(More)
Here we described a protocol by which one can broadcast GHZ-type states secretly. We have done this with the help of a cloning machine followed by subsequent measurements. We also made a comparative study of the amount of residual tangle present in these entangled states, obtained as outputs of the measurements.
In this article, I present an elementary introduction to the theory of gravitational waves. This article is meant for students who have had an exposure to general relativity, but, results from general rela-tivity used in the main discussion has been derived and discussed in the appendices. The weak gravitational field approximation is first considered and(More)
