Results indicate that IDRA 21 given orally to rats presumably crosses the blood-brain barrier and acts stereoselectively on specific receptors that were operative during this behavioral procedure, and suggest thatIDRA 21 improves cognition by acting on a stereoselected site of AMPA receptor that is operative in attenuating the rapid autodesensitization of these receptors.

Active Lactobacillus rhamnosus LA68 or Lactobacillus plantarum WCFS1 administration positively influences liver fatty acid composition in mice on a HFD regime.
The fatty acid composition of mouse liver tissue changed significantly due to probiotic administration during a 12 weeks HFD regime and active Lactobacillus administration had a slightly reversing effect toward the standard mouse diet group, but after the washout period these changes disappeared.

It is inferred that the amnesic effect of dizocilpine is counteracted by FGIN-1-27, 4'CD and pregnenolone sulfate because of their ability to increase brain accumulation of allopregnanolone.

A sandwich enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) was developed for a rapid and sensitive quantification of tetanus toxoid (TTd) and its good reproducibility suggest that the developed method could be reliably used to estimate the concentration of TTd, which could be easily extrapolated to the estimation of vaccine potency.

A decrease in fecundity was recorded in only C57BL/6 mice immunized with alhydrogel adjuvant, irrespective of the kind of applied pretreatment; it was associated with an increase in abundance of low affinity anti-β2GPI IgG antibodies and Th1 prevalence.
