The volatiles emitted by fresh whole flowers and isolated flower organs of male, female, and hermaphrodite carob trees (Ceratonia siliqua L.; Leguminosae) were analyzed by headspace solid-phase microextraction followed by capillary gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. The headspace of carob flowers is mainly constituted of high amounts of monoterpenes(More)
There is an increasing concern for the intelligent management of domestic power consumption based on intelligent sensors and actuators (attached to domestic appliances). This paper describes the electronic power meter sensor module of an intelligent management system being developed which is based on a network of functionally independent intelligent sensor(More)
This paper presents a switched-capacitor (SC) band-pass biquad using a simple quasi-unity gain amplifier. In sub-nanometer CMOS technologies the intrinsic gain of the transistors is low; this increases the difficulty of designing high gain amplifiers. The proposed SC filter is based on the Sallen-Key biquad and it requires only a simple low gain amplifier.(More)
