The paper describes a multilevel, multichannel R-matrix code, AZURE, for applications in nuclear astrophysics. The code allows simultaneous analysis and extrapolation of low-energy particle scattering, capture, and reaction cross sections of relevance to stellar hydrogen, helium, and carbon burning. The paper presents a summary of R-matrix theory, code… (More)
IEEE 802.11e model aims mainly at an enhancement of the Medium Access Control (MAC) layer to support Quality of Service (QoS). Another feature of 802.11e is the ability to disable MAC Acknowlegment. By simulation, we tried to show what benefits could be expected of such enhancements on the context of multihops ad hoc networks.
Location-based routing for Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) use location information in routing decisions. However, location-based routing protocols need location services to query the location information of the communication partner node so that packets could be forwarded properly. In this paper, we propose a proactive flooding-based location service which… (More)
In this paper, an attempt to define Clouds, User-Centric approach and Future Internet in their major features is outlined the sole purpose to establish the level of relevance of the two formers in the latter.
Mobile models aim to mimic human motion. Real traces aim at the same target. However, the latters are specific. They relate to a country or a region or smaller geographical places. Also, they cover at most few months of duration. In cons, Mobility models approach is more general in space and time for taking advantage of Social Theory. Mobile models are used… (More)
