Exposure and risk assessment was performed by evaluating levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC) benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene in 207 consumer products, suggesting that exposure to VOC via some consumer products exceeded the safe limits and needs to be reduced.
