It is found that a natural compound, rabdocoetsin B which is extracted from a Traditional Chinese Medicinal herb Rabdosia coetsa, could induce down-regulation of CIP2A and inactivation of Akt pathway, and inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in a variety of lung cancer cells.

Phytochemical investigation of Kadsura angustifolia led to the isolation and identification of 26 lignans and two triterpenoids, including 11 new lignan named kadangustins A-K ( 1- 11), which were elucidated by analysis of spectroscopic data.
