It is shown that, for attractive surfaces, there is evidence of significant enhancement of protein aggregation, a consequence of a surface phase transition, which has been shown to occur with ideal equilibrium polymers in the presence of sufficiently attractive surfaces.

An exact theory is developed to describe the potential of mean force between the spheres for the case where the polymer molecular weight dispersity is described by the Schulz-Flory distribution and it is found that even when q = R(g)/R(s) ⪆ 10, then the use of a monopole expansion for the polymer end-point distribution about the spheres is sufficient.
