The Mann-Whitney U test method was used to analyze the species sensitivity to ammonia toxicity. And based on the analysis, the relationship between species selection method and WQC deriving method was studied by using toxicology, biological taxonomy and sampling-inference theory. Results showed that vertebrate species, especially the Actinopterygii,(More)
A new metallic glass, which was created by vapour deposition at an appropriately high substrate temperature, shows exceptional thermal stability, and enhanced glass transition temperature and elastic modulus. Comparing this new material with other organic glasses prepared by similar routes and known as ultrastable glasses demonstrates the formation of(More)
On the basis of steel making-continuous casting and hot rolling production planning model, an integrated production planning model was put forward. An improved method with lagrangian relaxation and genetic algorithm is applied in the model. The number results prove the effectiveness of the model and algorithm.
Quantitative analysis of chlorobenzene (CB) in water by three-dimensional fluorescence spectrometry was discussed in the present paper. The study showed that there is only one fluorescence peak for CB which lies in the range of excitation wavelength (lambdaex) 210-240 nm and emission wavelength (lambdaem) 330-370 nm. When measuring CB solution of(More)
Dynamical moduli, such as storage and loss moduli, characterize the viscoelasticity of materials (i.e., time-dependent elasticity) and convey important information about the relaxation processes of glasses and supercooled liquids. A fundamental question is what ultimately determines them in glassy materials. Here, for several model metallic glasses, we(More)
The concentration of Mn and Si in different kinds of steels was determined by laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). The multivariate quadratic nonlinear function was adopted for calibration. Samples including common alloy steels, stainless steels and carbon tool steels were analyzed. The matrix effect was serious because of large difference in(More)
The multielement components of some aluminium alloy samples were quantified by using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). The Nd : YAG pulsed laser was used to produce plasma in ambient air. The spectral range of 200-980 nm was simultaneously obtained through a multichannel grating spectrometer and CCD detectors. The authors studied the influences(More)
Relaxation dynamics are the central topic in glassy physics. Recently, there is an emerging view that mechanical strain plays a similar role as temperature in altering the relaxation dynamics. Here, we report that mechanical strain in a model metallic glass modulates the relaxation dynamics in unexpected ways. We find that a large strain amplitude makes a(More)
The toxicity sensitivity of different freshwater aquatic organisms was analyzed using the collected toxicity data in this paper. Three methods were used to estimate the criteria of nitrate to protect the freshwater aquatic life. The results showed that the species sensitivity to nitrate followed the order of Arthropoda > Mollusca > Chordata, and Crustacea >(More)
The laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique is a fast, non-contact method with no need for any sample preparation, and can be carried out under various atmospheric conditions. These properties make LIBS applicable to process control in metallurgy. In the present paper, a series of high alloy steel GBW01605-01609 samples were determined by(More)
