The results indicate that aketogenic diet is a promising complementary therapy in adult intractable epilepsy, and that while a classical ketogenic diet may be more effective, adult patients are likely to be less compliant with it than with a modified Atkins diet. Expand
Neutrophil-mediated anticancer drug delivery for suppression of postoperative malignant glioma recurrence.
It is shown that NEs carrying liposomes that contain paclitaxel (PTX) can penetrate the brain and suppress the recurrence of glioma in mice whose tumour has been resected surgically, and this NE-mediated delivery of drugs efficiently slows the recurrent growth of tumours. Expand
