The accuracy of frozen section analysis in ultrasound- guided core needle biopsy of breast lesions
TLDR
The frozen section analysis of suspect breast lesions performed by CNB displays good sensitivity/specificity characteristics and in cases of malignancy time between diagnosis and definitive treatment could not be reduced due to frozen sections analysis.

TLDR
It is indicated that with regard to EGFR and cytoplasmic galectin-3 immunoexpression, multiple marker testing may be an adjunct in the identification of high-risk ovarian serous cancers.
Vascular endothelial growth factor expression in serous ovarian carcinoma: relationship with topoisomerase II alpha and prognosis.
TLDR
Investigation of expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and topoisomerase II alpha in a cohort of serous ovarian carcinomas by immunohistochemistry found they may serve as markers of aggressive tumor behavior in serous adenocarcinomas.
Poly(adenosine diphosphate-ribose) polymerase expression in serous ovarian carcinoma: correlation with p53, MIB-1, and outcome.

    International journal of gynecological pathology…
  • 2007
TLDR
It is indicated that PARP expression is frequently upregulated in ovarian serous carcinomas, related with MIB-1 LIs and p53 expression, and may serve as a marker of aggressive behavior with prognostic value.
Galectin-3 expression in normal, hyperplastic, and neoplastic endometrial tissues.
TLDR
It is shown that galectin-3 expression increases from normal and hyperplastic to atypical hyperplasia and cancerous states of endometrial tissues, and provides further evidence of a relationship between AH and EC.
