A new species, Blyxa mangalensis from the low altitude coastal lateritic plateau of the west coast of South India is described and illustrated. It differs from B. senegalensis in its 12 stamens, globose anthers with connective appendages, absence of petals in the female flower, distinctly longer style and 9 – 10 longitudinal-ridged seeds.
A breakthrough in solar cells is made using organolead halide perovskites as light harvesters with low-cost fabrication techniques. Perovskites are capable of high light absorbance, have excellent charge transport properties and have tunable band gaps. In this work perovskite solar cell (PSC) based on titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin film by spin(More)
Spin coated poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) sandwiched between thermally evaporated aluminum (Al) electrodes on a glass substrate showed unipolar Write Once Read Many times (WORM) characteristics. The pristine devices were in the low resistance ON state exhibiting ohmic behavior and at a voltage near -2 V, they switched abruptly to the high resistance OFF(More)
Photovoltaics are a valuable technology in the fast forward world where energy prices are growing high within seconds. Researchers are focusing to facilitate the production of low cost, eco-friendly and more efficient dye sensitized solar cells. Natural dye sensitized solar cells are a promising class of photovoltaic cells with a capacity of generating(More)
