We recorded the in vivo emission and time-resolved spectra of the firefly Luciola praeusta Kiesenwetter 1874 (Coleoptera : Lampyridae : Luciolinae). The emission spectrum shows that the full width at half maximum (FWHM) value for this particular species is 55 nm, which is significantly narrower than the in vivo half-widths reported till now. The… (More)
Gallstones obtained from patients from the north-east region of India (Assam) were studied using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique. LIBS spectra of the different layers (in cross-section) of the gallstones were recorded in the spectral region 200-900 nm. Several elements, including calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper, silicon,… (More)
This paper describes and focuses on the implementation of computation of displacement of a moving object in a real time video using EDK on FPGA platform. This will be used to track the object where the object will be in the consecutive frames. The entire displacement algorithm has been implemented in the Avnet video processing board based on Spartan 6… (More)
The Xilinx Spartan family provides the ability to perform partial reconfiguration. This paper concentrates on how to track a moving object using three different components-fixed hardware, reconfigurable hardware and software. This flow can be considered to be a part of a general methodology to implement mean shift algorithm for tracking moving object.
Geminiviruses constitute one of the largest groups of plant viruses, having characteristic twinned geminate particles encapsidating small circular single-stranded DNA molecules. Geminiviral promoters are generally located within the intergenic region, although promoters have also been detected within the genes. Similarly, the geminivirus-associated… (More)
