The NA48 collaboration has measured the amplitude of the CP-conserving component of the decay K0 S → π+π−π0 relative to K0 L → π+π−π0. For the characteristic parameter λ, the values Re λ = 0.038±0.010 and Im λ = −0.013±0.007 have been extracted. These values agree with earlier measurements and with theoretical predictions from chiral perturbation theory.
The NA48/2 experiment at CERN SPS carried out data taking in 2003 and 2004. The analysis of selected data samples of K± → π±γγ , K± → π±e+e−γ , K± → π±e+e−, and K± → π±μ+μ− allowed precise tests of the ChPT theory predictions.
