Levoprotiline: Clinical Therapeutic Efficacy and Tolerability
- G. Wendt
There is now no doubt about the therapeutic efficacy of selective inhibitors of NA reuptake (such as maprotiline), but that of the selective inhibitor of serotonin reuptakes ( such as zimelidine and fluoxetine) is still disputed. Expand

- Psychology, Medicine
- 1 July 1988
In a double-blind study, which was conducted as an interindividual comparison, 41 depressed inpatients were divided into two test groups according to a randomized list and received either the test substance CGP 12.103 A or the comparative substance clomipramine; both treatment groups showed a significant improvement as assessed by both the degree of severity of depression and the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale. Pharmacokinetics and metabolism of tiapamil.
- G. Wendt
Tiapamil plasma levels following intravenous infusion or multiple oral dosing may be predicted from basic pharmacokinetic parameters with reasonable accuracy, and large differences exist with respect to the route of excretion. Expand
Brofaromine--a selective, reversible, and short-acting MAO-A inhibitor: review of the pharmacological and clinical findings.
Clinical trials performed to date, including double-blind trials versus tranylcypromine and imipramine, have shown that brofaromine displays good antidepressive efficacy and good tolerability. Expand
Doubleblind evaluation of the antimanic properties of carbamazepine as a comedication to haloperidol
- H. Möller, Werner Kissling, T. Riehl, J. Bäuml, G. Wendt

- Progress in Neuro-Psychopharmacology and…
- 31 December 1989
A doubleblind study with 20 patients suffering from manic or schizomanic psychoses was performed to determine whether carbamazepine and haloperidol in comedication are more effective than hal operidol alone. Expand
KUSTA (Kurz-Skala Stimmung/Aktivierung): a daily self-rating scale for depressive patients.
Double-Blind Comparison of Intravenous Versus Oral Maprotiline*. Antidepressant Activity, Plasma Levels, Side-Effects
[Brofaromine--a selective, reversible and short-acting MAO-A inhibitor].
Brosfaromine is a MAO-inhibitor of the second generation, a selective, reversible and short acting MAo-A-Inhibitor, promising that the dangerous "cheese effect" will occur only under extreme conditions. Expand
Pharmaco-EEG profile of levoprotiline: second example to discuss the predictive value of pharmaco-electroencephalography in early human pharmacological evaluations of psychoactive drugs.
This publication forms the third part of a critical evaluation of pharmaco-EEG applications as an instrument for assessing the profile of action of psychoactive drugs based on the trial results of… Expand
Double-blind study of oxaprotiline versus clomipramine in the treatment of depressive inpatients.
In a double-blind study on 38 unselected depressive inpatients, oxaprotiline, a new tetracyclic compound with a highly selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibition was compared with clomipramine over a period of 28 days in a daily dosage of 150 mg. Expand
