Detection of psilocin in body fluids.
A GC-MS-method with d(3)-morphine as internal standard and silylation with MSTFA was proved, which proved that psilocin was detected in the urine with REMEDi HS and in serum, most of the p silocin in serum was found in the conjugated form. Expand
Glucuronidation of aliphatic alcohols in human liver microsomes in vitro.
The glucuronidation of several short-chained aliphatic alcohols in vitro, with the use of human liver microsomes (HLM) as catalyst, was performed, and the kinetics were studied, showing the length of the alkyl chain played the decisive role in the maximum turnover rate. Expand
Hypoxanthine in vitreous humor and cerebrospinal fluid--a marker of postmortem interval and prolonged (vital) hypoxia? Remarks also on hypoxanthine in SIDS.
The results published so far on vitreous Hx values in sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) cases as an indicator for a prolonged cerebral hypoxia are not convincing and the discrepant results on Hx as a measure of vitalhypoxia and PMI will be discussed. Expand
[Fatal outcome of Ecstasy overdose].
It is demonstrated that for this assessment the concentrations in the muscular system are of special importance, as redistribution of highly lipophilic substances from the surrounding tissue is possible also in peripheral blood. Expand
AN INTERSUBSTANCE APPROACH TO DRUG-CONCENTRATION-DRUG EFFECT CORRELATION VIA METAANALYTIC DATA OF EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES
Based on a metaanalytical analysis of experimental studies combined with pharmacokinetic data we tried to correlate the time of worst human performance and the time of highest serum-concentration… Expand

Metabolism of sphingosine bases, I. Degradation and incorporation of (3-14C)erythro-DL-dihydrosphingosine and (7-3H2)erythro-DL-sphingosine into sphingolipids of rat liver.
Chlorprothixene in bodies after exhumation.
Five cases in which toxicological analyses had to be performed due to suspicion of homicide by chlorprothixene intoxication, carried out following post mortem intervals in earth graves between two and five and a half years are reported. Expand

Hair samples were collected from 17 children who had received methylphenidate therapy on a long-term basis and it was noted that at higher daily doses there was a tendency toward increased concentrations in the hair, but for testing of compliance, the incorporation into hair did not occur with the required high correlation between daily dose and concentration in thehair.
