Foley urinary catheters impregnated with gaseous NO were able to inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli within the surrounding media, demonstrating the ability to eradicate a bacterial concentration of up to 104 CFU/ml.
Influence of lipophilicity on the interactions of hydroxy stilbenes with cytochrome P450 3A4.

It is suggested that their antioxidant activity could be exerted in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), breaking the propagation of lipid peroxides oxidation and production of toxic compounds.
Glycosylation of resveratrol protects it from enzymic oxidation.
It is suggested that glycosylation of polyphenols in nature helps to protect these vital molecules from enzymic oxidation, extending their half-life in the cell and maintaining their beneficial antioxidant capacity and biological properties.
Comparative efficacy of commercially available and emerging antimicrobial urinary catheters against bacteriuria caused by E. coli in vitro.
Resveratrol and two monomethylated stilbenes from Israeli Rumex bucephalophorus and their antioxidant potential.

The roots of Rumex bucephalophorus were analyzed for resveratrol and analogues and two stilbene-O-methyl derivatives were identified, in addition to resver atrol (3,5,4'-trihydroxystilbenes) and the antioxidant capacities of all these stilbenes were determined.
Gaseous nitric oxide reduces influenza infectivity in vitro
Effects of nasal instillation of a nitric oxide-releasing solution or parenteral administration of tilmicosin on the nasopharyngeal microbiota of beef feedlot cattle at high-risk of developing…
