Biochemical Composition of Shell and Flesh of the Indian White Shrimp Penaeus indicus (H.milne Edwards 1837)
The results of the present study reported that Penaeus indicus is a good source of proteins and metabolically energy and average mineral supply.
A taxonomic review of the fish parasitic isopod family Cymothoidae Leach, 1818 (Crustacea: Isopoda: Cymothooidea) of India.
The parasitic isopod family Cymothoidae Leach, 1818 of the India exclusive economic zone is reviewed and Ourozeuktes bopyroides (Lesueur, 1814) is revised and excluded from the Indian fauna.

A checklist of the parasitic Cymothoidae of Indian fishes was compiled from parasitological records published between 1783 and 2011, providing valid names, synonyms and authorities of the parasite species, as well as valid names and synonyms of the host fish, its capture sites, author(s) and date of published records.

Ten additional cymothoids are reported in India, most of them for the first time, and they parasitize nine fish species, several of them being new host species.
Nerocila species (Crustacea, Isopoda, Cymothoidae) from Indian marine fishes
A checklist of the nominal Nerocila species until now reported from Indian marine fishes was compiled and NerocILA exocoeti, until now inadequately identified, is described and distinctly characterized.
Genetic variability and correlation of some morphometric traits with grain yield in bold grained rice (Oryza sativa L.) gene pool of Barak valley.
Sterility percentage, effective branch tiller per hill and panicle length had high coheritability with grain yield suggesting that selection for these characters would improve grain yield, and a strong inherent association among grain yield per plant and other morpho-physiological characters.
Antimicrobial Activity from the Gill Extraction of Perna viridis (Linnaeus, 1758)
The present study indicated that the gill extraction of P.viridis may potential source for antibiotics.
Cymothoidae (Crustacea, Isopoda) from Indian fishes
Four cymothoid isopods, parasites of fishes, are reported from India. Two new species, Nerocila poruvae and Joryma hilsae are described. A full description of Nerocila longispina Miers, 1880 is…
Invasion of parasitic isopods in marine fishes
Large numbers of parasite infected marine fishes of known ages have provided the first strong evidence that cymothoid infections reduce the growth of fish hosts.
Variation in the Morphological Features of Isopod Fish Parasites
The parasitation of isopod parasites leads to secondary infection by pathogenic microbes which may affect the fish population, and the morphology, diversity and life cycle is discussed.
