Leptostracans (Crustacea: Phyllocarida) from the Ría de Ferrol (Galicia, NW Iberian Peninsula), with description of a new species of Nebalia Leach, 1814
Sampling in subtidal sediments in the Ria of Ferrol (NW Spain) between 2006 and 2007 yielded several leptostracan specimens belonging to six species, which is, so far, the largest number of leptOSTracan species reported from a single area.
Dotofide, a Guanidine‐Interrupted Terpenoid from the Marine Slug Doto pinnatifida (Gastropoda, Nudibranchia)
An unusual natural product (dotofide, 1), in which the terpenoid skeleton is interrupted by a guanidine moiety was obtained from the marine slug Doto pinnatifida, suggesting that the snail is able to perform the biosynthesis of the metabolite by itself.
Anatomical description and biology of the splanchnotrophid "Splanchnotrophus gracilis" Hancock & Norman, 1863 found parasitizing the doridacean nudibranch "Trapania tartanella" Ihering, 1886 at the…
Distribution and population structure of Patella vulgata linnaeus, 1758 (Gastropoda: Patellidae) on intertidal seawalls and rocky shores in the ría de Ferrol (Galicia, NW Iberian peninsula)
There were no clear differences regarding abundance, frequency of occurrence and population structure between the two studied habitats, but at some stations maximal sizes of limpets were greater on rocky shores than on seawalls.

El progresivo desarrollo urbanistico asociado al constante crecimiento de la poblacion humana hace que las areas urbanas tengan cada vez un mayor impacto en los ecosistemas marinos. Se ha estimado…
Application of microCT in the study of the anatomy of small marine molluscs
With this work, it is aimed to get to know the effectiveness of the use of microCT in the study of the anatomy of several groups of small-sized marine Mollusca.
First steps in morphological analysis of the of the reproductive system of Doto pinnatifida (Montagu, 1804)
This work makes a comparative study of the anatomy of the reproductive system of Doto pinnatifida through the use of micro-CT, in order to establish if there are any morphological features that could be considered as intraspecific differences.

During RV MS Merian expedition MSM75, an international, multidisciplinary team explored the Reykjanes Ridge from June to August 2018. The first area of study, Steinahóll (150–350 m depth), was chosen…
Revision of the genus Pozziella (Porifera: Poecilosclerida) with description of three new species from the eastern Pacific*
- G. Díaz-Agras
- 3 September 2008
The present study led to a revision of the genus and an attempt to resolve the relationships between the species, based on the likeness of spicule complements and biometric characters, and revealed that Atlantic and Pacific species clustered separately.
