New N-arylsulfonyl-N-alkoxyaminoacetohydroxamic acids as selective inhibitors of gelatinase A (MMP-2).

Renal purine efflux and xanthine oxidase activity during experimental nephrosis in rats: difference between puromycin aminonucleoside and adriamycin nephrosis.
These data demonstrate an activation of renal xanthine oxidase and Xanthine dehydrogenase after adriamycin intoxication which is relevant to the induction of proteinuria and argue against the involvement of the renal xantha oxidase system as a source of free radicals in puromycin aminonucleoside nephrosis.
