Revision of the Neotropical green lacewing genus Ungla (Neuroptera, Chrysopidae)
Ungla Navás, 1914, a poorly known Neotropical genus is reviewed, and three generalizations appear: the genital morphology of both males and females of Ungla species is very conserved, and all species express a common structural pattern.
Two common and problematic leucochrysine species – Leucochrysa (Leucochrysa) varia (Schneider) and L. (L.) pretiosa (Banks) (Neuroptera, Chrysopidae): redescriptions and synonymies
It is shown that these species occur within a large complex of cryptic species and that they have accumulated a number of taxonomic problems, so two problematic and common Leucochrysa species are treated.
A new genus of Neotropical Chrysopini (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae)
The external morphology, and male and female genitalia of all these species are described.
Adults and larvae of two Leucochrysa (Leucochrysa) species (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae): descriptions, biological notes, and relationships.
The two sets of species are considered to be distinct; their genitalia differ significantly from those of the described L. (L.) "varia-like" species; these include similar adult color polymorphisms and aspects of their larval morphology.
New Neotropical species of Ceraeochrysa Adams (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae)
Three species of Ceraeochrysa Adams are described as new to science, Ceraechrysa melaenopareia sp.
