Since there is no linear correlation between sperm quality and pregnancy rates, an improvement in semen parameters should not be the sole outcome considered in studies of antioxidant therapies, and more multicentre, double-blind studies performed with the same criteria are necessary for an increased understanding of the effects of various antioxidants on fertility.
Medullary thyroid cancer diagnosis: An appraisal
An easy‐to‐use guide reviewing the main issues of MTC diagnosis, including basal serum calcitonin, stimulated serum calcium, additional serum markers for MTC, ultrasound and other imaging techniques, and scope of the problem are provided.

The presence of high inter-individual variability of different biological parameters (anthropometry, pubertal stage, hormones, etc.) within athletes selected by chronological age in the same class and the presence of significant correlations between chronological age, puberty and the steroid hormone responses to physical exercise are observed.
