Co-expression of VpROMT gene from Chinese wild Vitis pseudoreticulata with VpSTS in tobacco plants and its effects on the accumulation of pterostilbene
TLDR
A candidate of resveratrol O-methyltransferase gene designated as VpROMT was isolated from a powdery mildew-resistant Chinese wild V. pseudoreticulata and expressed in developing roots yet not found in the leaves, stems, nor tendrils when the plants are not challenged, indicating that Vp ROMT was able to catalyze the biosynthesis of pterostilbene from resver atrol in over-expression transgenic tobacco plants. TLDR
This is the first study using DNA barcoding to identify Cryptolestes species and the gathered DNA sequences will complement the biological barcode database. Expand

TLDR
18 novel polymorphic microsatellite loci from an enriched genomic library based on a biotin/streptavidin capture protocol will be useful tool to better understand the genetic structure and migration patterns of C. ferrugineus throughout the world. Expand
Genetic variation in three mitochondrial genes among cattle tick Rhipicephalus microplus originating from four provinces of China.
TLDR
Phylogenetic analyses indicated that all the Rhipicephalus isolates from the present study represents R. microplus, supporting that R.microplus represents species complex and providing an additional genetic evidence for the existence of species complex within R.Microplus in China. Expand
