In vivo prebiotic properties of alginate oligosaccharides prepared through enzymatic hydrolysis of alginate
GlcNAcylation plays an essential role in breast cancer metastasis.
It is shown that GlcNAcylation enhances the migration/invasion of breast cancer cells in vitro and lung metastasis in vivo and suggests that it might be a potential target for the diagnosis and therapy of Breast cancer.

CgkP was more thermostable than most of previously reported κ-carrageenases with a potential of being used in industry and showed relatively high activity at acidities and temperatures.
