- F. Mondani, F. Golzardi, G. Ahmadvand, R. Ghorbani, R. Moradi
- Biology
- 25 August 2011
Effect of weed competition on crop dry matter started about 40 DAE and about 90 DAE reached its maximum, and weeds competition decreased dry matter accumulation, leaf area index, crop growth rate, Leaf area index duration, light absorption, light extinction coefficient and radiation use efficiency (RUE) of potato.
Effect of different planting dates and defoliation on the properties of sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.).
- M. Ilkaee, Z. Babaei, A. Baghdadi, F. Golzardi
- Biology
- 2016
Investigation of the effect of defoliation on the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of sugar beet in Motahari research station revealed that different planting dates have significant effect on the sugar percentage of root and white sugar yield.
Alternate furrow irrigation affects yield and water-use efficiency of maize under deficit irrigation
- F. Golzardi, A. Baghdadi, R. K. Afshar
- BiologyCrop and Pasture Science
- 1 November 2017
Good potential of AFI is indicated for development of water-saving strategies for maize production in semi-arid climates and the role of carbohydrate remobilisation in kernel filling was greater under AFI consistently among irrigation regimes.
ENVIRONMENTAL MATERNAL EFFECTS ON DROUGHT AND SALINITY TOLERANCE OF IRANIAN KNAPWEED (CENTAUREA DEPRESSA M. BIEB.) AT GERMINATION AND SEEDLING GROWTH STAGE
- Seyedeh Zohreh Ebadi, F. Golzardi, Y. Vaziritabar, Y. Vaziritabar, M. Ebadi, Karaj Branch
- Biology
- 2014
Results showed that germination percentage, radical and shoot length, and seedling dry weight of both Centaurea depressa populations decreased significantly, with increasing intensity of drought and salinity, however results showed a greater salinity and drought tolerance of Ahvaz population.

- A. Baghdadi, F. Paknejad, F. Golzardi, M. Hashemi, M. Ilkaee
- MedicineThe Journal of the Science of Food and…
- 5 April 2021
When sufficient irrigation is available, intercropping of sorghum and amaranth can considerably improve yield and quality of emergency feed, however, the benefits from intercropped faded under the two partial root-zone irrigation methods used in this study.
Effects of Salt and Drought Stresses on Germination and Seedling Growth of Swallow Wort (Cynanchum acutum L.)
- F. Golzardi, S. Vazan, H. Moosavinia, G. Tohidloo, Karaj Branch
- Biology
- 2012
Control treatment was better for radicle and hypocotyle length as well as seedling fresh weight and seed germination than the other treatments considerably, and drought and salinity stresses effect essence on germination and early seedling growth was different.
