BACKGROUND The aim of the study was to precisely describe and classify the infraorbital canal/groove (IOC/G) complex in dry human skulls and to evaluate the presence of asymmetry in the IOC/G complex. MATERIALS AND METHODS Seventy orbits of 35 human skulls were investigated. The following distances were measured: the distance between the posterior and(More)
We investigate the influence of an external magnetic field on optical photoinduced second-harmonic generation (PISHG) in Fe(18)Co(60)Si(9)B(13) metallic glass. A correlation between the output PISHG signal and degree of crystallinity (varied by thermoannealing) is observed. The applied magnetic field essentially suppresses the relaxation time of the PISHG.(More)
Foam-mat drying is an alternative method which enables the removal of water from high-sugar content juices and purees that are difficult to dry. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of different foam-mat drying methods on some physical properties and aroma of apple puree powder. Apple puree was foamed with the addition of foaming agents.(More)
