This study shows that SQT, for either 8 or 10 days, is well tolerated and highly effective in H. pylori eradication and could represent a valid alternative to STT.

Third-line levofloxacin-doxycycline-based triple therapy had a low H. pylori eradication efficacy, though the success and tolerability of this treatment may be enhanced with probiotics.
