Molecular and morphological characterisations of two new species of Rotylenchus (Nematoda: Hoplolaimidae) from Iran
The phylogenetic analysis based on sequences of the D2-D3 expansion regions of 28S and ITS1-rRNA genes confirmed the species differentiation of Rotylenchus iranicus n.
Description of Atetylenchus minor n. sp. (Tylenchina: Tylenchidae) and data on two other species of the family
Three species of the family Tylenchidae, including one new and two known species, are described and illustrated and molecular phylogenetic studies revealed that the new species formed a clade with an unpublished species assigned to Psilenchus in Bayesian inference (BI) with low Bayesian posterior probability (BPP).
Description of Longidorus perangustus sp. n. (Dorylaimida: Longidoridae), an amphimictic species from Iran
The new species is characterized by having an extremely slender and narrow body and an anteriorly flattened lip region, separated from the rest of the body by a depression, and forms a clade with four isolates of L. euonymous in both Bayesian inference and maximum likelihood analyses.
Description of Lelenchus brevislitus n. sp. (Nematoda: Tylenchidae), an example of a cryptic species from Iran and its phylogenetic relationships with other species in the family
The new species is considered to be a cryptic species inside the Tylenchidae, and the results revealed it formed a clade with an isolate of L. leptosoma, a sister clade to some Malenchus spp.
Description of one new, and new data on two known, species of Enchodelus Thorne, 1939 (Dorylaimida: Nordiidae) from Iran
This contribution provides a study of one new and two known species of Enchodelus and E. longispiculus recorded for the first time in Iran and in Asia and compared to other known populations of these species.
