PIBF (progesterone induced blocking factor) is overexpressed in highly proliferating cells and associated with the centrosome
RNA expression analyses of several human cell lines with different tissue origin and paired human tumor/normal tissues revealed that PIBF mRNA was overexpressed in highly proliferating cells independent of the presence of PR, revealing a strong parallel with known tumor suppressor proteins, such as BRCA1 and p53 having the same centrosomal localization.
Mitochondrial DNA 11777C>A Mutation Associated Leigh Syndrome: Case Report with a Review of the Previously Described Pedigrees
The earliest onset of symptoms, the nature of the first presentation signs, the most rapid progression, the character of minor additional symptoms, and the early fatal outcome differentiate the phenotypic variant of the proband presented here from cases reported so far by others.
Estrogen Receptor Negative and Progesterone Receptor Positive Breast Carcinomas—How Frequent are they?
After careful reevaluation of the tumor slides and control tissues with a 1% cut-off for positivity and restaining of the questionable cases, all but 1 of the re evaluated 182 cases changed their original phenotype.
Solid and papillary epithelial neoplasm arising in heterotopic pancreatic tissue of the mesocolon
Interestingly, review of the published and the present heterotopic pancreatic SPENs identified the mesocolon as the most common anatomical site (four of six), despite the very rare occurrence of ectopic pancreas tissue at this site.
Cells producing cathepsins D, B, and L in human breast carcinoma and their association with prognosis.

CD99 expression was initially considered to bespecific for Ewing sarcoma (ES); however, it may also be seen in many histologically similar neo-plasms, further expanding the list ofdifferentials.
Immunochemical analysis of cathepsin B in lung tumours: an independent prognostic factor for squamous cell carcinoma patients
It is concluded that the proteolytic enzyme cath B is an independent prognostic factor for overall survival of patients suffering from SCC of the lung.
Large cell neuroblastoma
A group of rare tumors is histologically identified that is composed of large cells with sharply outlined nuclear membranes and 1–4 prominent nucleoli in neuroblastoma patients.

It is demonstrated in an experimental heart failure model that L-2286 decreased the postinfarction myocardial remodeling more effectively than enalapril treatment.

Clinical manifestations and histology of the patient with SPTCL are illustrated and it is shown that malignant lymphocytes are positive for CD3, CD8, and granzyme B, but are negative for CD4 and CD56.
