The contribution of microsurgery to the reconstruction of nerves in the Maxillofacial area is very important. The knowledge of Anatomy, Etiology and Symptoms of the damage is mandatory for satisfactory results. After a review of the literature about the microsurgical reconstruction of the lingual nerve, this technique is described.
The aim of this study was to investigate the position of the mandibular foramen in relation to the width of the ramus and the gonial angle of the mandible.
