Based on modified mirror image method, an equivalent model of layered glass antenna structure is suggested and applied to consider finite-sized glass antennas integrated into a full car model. The hybrid MoM is derived and validated by comparison of simulated results with those obtained by measurements on complex finite-sized grid antenna model placed near… (More)
Model for the stochastic multi-cable bundle is developed. It is based on lumped circuit model of the multi transmission lines with randomly formed crosssections along cable system. Interaction of cables with surrounding environment is simulated using hybridization of transmission line theory with the Method of Moments. Validation of developed approach is… (More)
In this paper, a hybrid MOM with a multilayered Green's function is applied to electromagnetic (EM) modeling of printed microstrip antennas (PMA). This approach is validated on ultra-wideband (UWB) PMA, and a good agreement between the simulated and measured results is shown. Some predictions of EM behavior of UWB PMA integrated in a real car model are… (More)
A 3-phase DC-AC inverter system model is developed and noise produced by this non-linear system is investigated. Importance of parasitic elements consideration in computational model is shown for radiated emission test. Modeling of the system is performed using multi transmission line theory. Comparison of simulation results with measurements is done.
Effective computational techniques for Multi-Transmission Line (MTL) based on Lumped Circuit Transmission Line (LCTL) method are suggested and applied for EMC analysis of complex cable harness. Accuracy of developed algorithms is validated by comparisons with measurements.
In this paper, a hybrid MoM with a multilayered Green's function is applied to electromagnetic (EM) modeling of a printed tire pressure monitoring system (TMPS) antenna. The simulated results for this antenna are shown to be in a good agreement with measurements. Modeling of TMPS antenna in complex environment of automobile is conducted, and predictions of… (More)
Based on the recent enhancements of the traditional MoM, a combined set of the advanced methods, techniques and special means is proposed to provide an accurate and effective simulation of EM/EMC automotive antenna problems
In this paper effective acceleration technique for solving of electrically large EMC problems is described. It is known that for solving of large linear systems iterative solvers are very practical. The main problems for solution of such problems are related to large memory requirement for matrix and poor convergence of iterative solver. For solution of… (More)
Paper presents modeling and numerical investigations of log-periodic and horn antennas performed by method of moments (MoM). Obtained results are compared with experimental data. Comparison shows that the simulations have close agreement with measurement.
The aim of this work is development and validation of the robust model suitable for analysis of the immunity and radiation problems of the shielded twisted pair cables. A model is based on the method of moments (MoM) considerations and is used for the simulations of shielded cables in TEM cell, where simulation results are compared with measurement data.
