This paper presents a system which will be in use by the major printing and publishing companies in Germany starting second quarter of 1997. The most important features of CORGI II are the high speed and the high reliability of the transmission. We describe the basic ideas and solutions that lead to the nal system and present the performance data achieved… (More)
A computational method is presented that transfers the spectral neutron fluence from the measuring position to a reference point in a biological sample. The method is applied to the determination of the absorbed dose in adult blood irradiated with monoenergetic neutrons of 0.035 and 14.8 MeV.
This paper compares three different methods for controlling data flow over high speed wide area networks. It presents a novel mechanism that measures the exact receiver capabilities in order to improve the rate based flow control algorithm. Unlike standard protocols like TCP/IP with their credit based flow control, the new protocol DSTP uses this special… (More)
